First Friday Art Walk! Tonight!

Street Faire Moving Into Library

The Louisville Downtown Street Faire is moving into the Louisville Library for the 2011 season. “No more worrying about the weather,”said Faire spokesman Lysergo Harrison when asked why the popular event was being moved. Harrison added that the high ceiling in the Library entryway would be perfect for the climbing wall and bungie jump. When asked if the move had been cleared with Library Director Beth Barrett, Mr. Harrison replied, “Nah, I hear she is a reasonable woman, and it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, right?”

EmbodiWorks Photo Exhibit

To promote awareness of integrative cancer care, the Salon will feature photography by EmbodiWorks co-founder Bill Wolfkiel. EmbodiWorks is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce cancer risk and improve survivorship, quality of life and whole person care.
