One Cool Cat Coming to Main Street
It was the Rex Theatre back in the day, and for nearly 20 years it was Senor T’s. This month, 817 Main will reincarnate as The Alley Cat Bar and Grill.
A tour of the reworked interior unveiled a cozy, open floorplan with the bar and band area on the south side. Owners Jacques and Lori Blanchard see their new enterprise as an opportunity to be a part of the evolving Downtown Louisville music scene. “We’re looking forward to creating a synergy with Waterloo, Empire and our other neighbors’” said Jacques.
The Alley Cat is planning on opening March 17.
It’s 5180 Week at Empire
It’s 5280 Restaurant Week on the Front Range but, being Louisville, we have to do things a bit differently. Empire is serving a 3 Course Meal for 2 for $51.80 through March 5. The Downtown Dialog recommends the meatballs, they’re amazing, like pretty much everything at this cool Main Street eatery.
